Manganese: It is an element that forms austenite. It also has an effect on the formation of carbides. Excessive manganese will cause austenite in the structure. Austenite is not suitable for grinding balls, because austenite grinding balls are not Dry grinding and wet grinding will cause a lot of crushing and spalling. However, since manganese is used for deoxidation and desulfurization, the content of manganese in a wear-resistant ball cannot be too high.
