Oxidation resistance of the TiC steel-cemented carbide was studied at 900,1000 and 1100 ℃ for 30,60,90 and 120 min, respectively; and potentiodynamic polarization curves of the cemented carbide in H 2 SO 4 solution,3. 5% NaCl solution and NaOH solution were investigated by an electrochemical workstation. The results show that the TiC steel-cemented carbide exhibits better oxidation resistance than that of carbon steel without adding TiC,and the 10% TiC steel-cemented carbide has the best oxidation resistance.
