Definition of steel-bonded carbide material

As the name implies, steel-bonded carbide is a composite material prepared by powder metallurgy with steel as the binder phase and refractory metal carbides (mainly carbonized titanium and tungsten carbide) as the hard phase. Between steel and cemented carbide, it combines the characteristics and strengths of two materials, which is an emerging engineering material that fills the gap between them.
