When the heating temperature is higher than 1500°C in hydrogen, it will decarburize slowly; in nitrogen atmosphere When the intermediate temperature is higher than 1200°C, Ti(C,N) changes with the composition of N2, and the dense TiC oxidizes slowly in the oxygen atmosphere below 800°C. The loose TiC can be burned in oxygen at 600°C.
