Abstract: The microwave sintering and conventional powder metallurgy sintering low-alloy Fe-4Ni-2Cu-0.6Mo-0.6C. Study the alloy density, tensile strength and hardness of different sintering process, and scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy and fracture type alloy specimen sample microstructure. The results show that: When the alloy in the microwave sintering temperature is 1300 ℃, the tensile strength of up can reach to 655MPa, hardness reach to 90HRB and compared to conventional sintering process, microwave sintering could not only shorten the time, but also improve the tensile strength of low-alloy steel and hardness.
