TiC powder has good heat transfer and electrical conductivity, its electrical conductivity decreases with increasing temperature, which shows that TiC has the properties of metal. The molten titanium metal (1800 ~ 2400) ℃ directly reacts with carbon to form TiC. TiC titanium carbide powder is usually prepared by reducing TiO2 with carbon under high temperature (above 1800 ℃).
